Sirius is
the School for International Regional Development Studies - a top-class
training facility for those involved in regional development and spatial
planning. Serving the needs of practitioners at every level - European,
national, regional, local - Sirius brings together the best knowledge,
expertise and experience in economic development from throughout Europe
and makes it available in flexible and tailored training programmes.
Sirius has been established by two leading regional development
institutes - the European
Policies Research Centre (Glasgow) and the Nordic
Centre for Spatial Development (Stockholm), working together
with partners in Austria, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland and
Romania.
